It's Only Rock 'n' Roll was a rock memorabilia store in Greenwich Village in the 80's and 90's. Famed poster artist Rick Griffin attended the 1981 Rockages Convention in New York and was asked to do a logo for the next year's event. The original version appeared on the cover of the 1982 convention's program. In 1983, the image was altered by another artist as a logo for the October opening of rock shop, It's Only Rock 'n' Roll. Finally, in 1986-'87, Rick re-did the image again, adding new lettering to the top, flying notes as airplanes and changing what had been a two-artist affair back to a Griffin original.male - adult$38.00
