This is a World of Warcraft Alliance crest t-shirt. There are two types of characters: Player Characters (PCs or simply "characters") and Non-Player Characters (NPCs). A Player Character is controlled by a player who used to be a person who lived in his mom's basement but has transgressed to pretty much everyone now whilst Non-Player Characters (NPCs) are controlled by the game software and can only interact with PCs through scripted events.
