The O'Neill Men's Lock Up SS Tee is a stylish - yet comfortable O'Neill Tee because it is made of 100% ringspun cotton with a soft hand screen print and basic fit. I always wondered what ringspun cotton was so I spent three hours chewing grape bubblegum and researching this interesting topic. So here it is. Ringspun fabric originated in the middle ages - as a means of taking the rougher feel of raw cotton and making it smoother to the touch. Essentially - the process for producing ringspun fabric involved using a spinning method - such as on a spinning wheel - to create a slightly finer thread. So - we should all thank the cool peeps from the middle ages who wanted to feel soft. Thanks!
