There's a handful of 70's Rock music writers, Gonzo journalists, that were culled through the desire of certain magazines to bring the debauchery and back story of rock and roll music to the people. You may recognize his name from the Cameron Crowe movie Almost Famous (played by Philip Seymour Hoffman), or you may have read one of his articles in Creem magazine, Rolling Stone, Villiage Voice, even Playboy and Penthouse.
