The Eat A Peach tour should have been a live showcase for considerable talents Duane and Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Butch Trucks, Jaimoe and Berry Oakley. Instead, the tour was a brave outing sandwiched between the motorcycle-related deaths of slide-guitarist Duane, in October, 1971 and bassist Oakely, in November, 1972.
