Jimbo Phillips is an artist from Santa Cruz, California that was literally raised on eye- popping graphics. His father, Jim Phillips, created all the artwork for Santa Cruz Skateboards throughout the 70's and 80's, most notably the iconic 'Screaming Hand'. At 18, Jimbo began working for his father producing graphics for the skateboard industry (Santa Cruz Skateboards). In developing mind-blowing graphics used for t-shirts, decals, skateboards and in advertising, Jimbo launched his own graphic design business in 1990. Via his own business, Jimbo has continued to produce artwork for the skateboard industry, create logos for surf shops; as well as, silk- screen t-shirts and posters for punk and metal bands. "Emerica has this awesome knack for making tees that look like they belong to vintage software packages. Back when computers used lots of codes, and had tiny little black monitors, and software came on floppy disks. This tee is, of course, no exception, and the pyramid-styled logo backed by blue and sitting atop a skin-tone box with Emerica in reverse, makes us feel like were watching a movie from the late 80s, and witnessing the pinnacle of technology. Dracula Gothic 'Transylvania' War T-Shirt Out of all the medieval goth tees on the market today (what medieval goth tees?!?!?!?) we knew instantly this was the one and only... this was the one subtle vampire shirt that even Vlad The Impaler wore proudly, while drinking the blood of the decapitated surfs on the Transylvanian hillside.
