True Romance 'Suicide Lovers' Movie T-Shirt Yeah, we know they don't die at the end... but we thought this t-shirt still conveyed the common essence. Besides, if you're into the romantic/suicide sentiment... as we are... then you can wear this cute ( dark? ) shirt without telling anyone it's movie inspired. Wait, did someone say MOVIE? True Romance was Quentin Tarantinos first script, he hoped to direct but ended up selling it... thank god director Tony Scott (The Hunger, Top Gun, Last Boy Scout), who happens to be Ridley Scott's brother (Alien, Blade Runner, Legend, Thelma & Louise, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down - to name a few), did an excellent job of bringing the (unknown) Tarantino vision to life. A vintage, distressed t-shirt inspired by Quentin Tarantino's cult classic, Pulp Fiction. We call it "Vincent's Nightmare", which includes Joules' crazed gunmanship from earlier that week, Mia's Fox Force Five joke about the family of tomatoes, and a general uneasiness as a result of the adrenaline shot and all the heroin he was doing. It features a tomato Joules (Samuel L. Jackson) with his trusty piece and what we can only assume is the baby tomato who was lagging behind being pulverized.
