  • Little kids tend to be a little crazy. I think it kind of comes with the territory right? I mean all that time watching cartoons and pretending to be whatever they want kind of results in some mentally unstable patterns...either that or their sugar intake is a bit high for the day! Now I'm not trying to be an enabler but this 100% cotton DC Character Heads Kids T-Shirt has an entire plethora of DC characters! Superman Batman the Flash Green Lantern and Wonder Woman just to name a few! Of course the point of this shirt though is to pigeon hole each of these heroes into a psychological condition. Your kid will enjoy the images while 'grown ups'(and I use that term loosely) like yourselves will enjoy the neurosis!

  • Batman likes to change things up a bit. A little pinch of this a little dash of that. You know have to get some Blue Beetle or Green Arrow in the mix to keep things interesting. I hear Batman even has a show these days where he teams up with random members from the DC Universe to solve crimes. I bet Batman would have a lot of fun doing that after all he does spend a lot of time on his computer in his basement. He's probably playing the World of Warcraft or some other soul-siphoning game. That title of World's Greatest Detective is just a front a simple rouse to distract from his crippling video game addiction. Which is why this 100% cotton Batman Kids Brave & Bold T-Shirt is so important. He needs to go out and hang out with his friends ya know?

  • Marvel fans the world over unite! Throw off the oppressive yolk of your DC oppressors! Nah I'm just kidding. Comic fans can all live together united in their love of comics! Though of course we see which side this 100% cotton 30 single t-shirt is leaning but that's okay. You know how hard it is to get a cross license these days? Maybe we'll get lucky and our grandchildren will get to see another cross over event but I somehow doubt it. In the mean time you can stay squeeze-ably soft in this groovy t-shirt! With the Hulk and the Thing between Captain America's shield you know there is going to be some trouble. I think that lineup should probably play football!

  • "If I hadn't done it, someone else would have. ???once we were going to do it, we wanted to do it right. ???" By the early 70's rock bands were burned out from the road. Performers wanted to travel less and make money faster. Bill Graham's Day on the Green concerts were the first prototypes of "festival" shows - multi performer sets in stadium settings. Staged on the lawn of the Oakland Coliseum, the Day on the Green concerts were a summer series started in 1973 that continued until shortly after Graham's death in 1991. "That was why I came up with the name "Day on the Green". I wanted to make these events special. I wanted to create giant outdoor sets so the bands would be going into a space that was like a theater piece."

  • Bill Graham anticipated the national trend towards huge outdoor rock concert events that answered new industry demands: the bands' for maximum profit with minimum fan exposure, and the fans' for maximum band exposure at minimum cost. In 1973, Graham introduced San Francisco to his first Day on the Green at Kezar Stadium. The event, and the many others held at the Oakland Coliseum, was special and combined Graham's familiar balloons and posters with giant sets and urgent medical care for the sensorily-sated in a theatre-like atmosphere. Day on the Green became code for outdoor music immersion.

  • Black Sabbath, in California on the U.S. leg of the Heaven & Hell tour, Molly Hatchet, Cheap Trick and cult-favorite Journey, recently famous for their March-release album "Departure," played to almost 90,000 at the Summer Blowout festival on the 26th. The same line-up plus Shakin' Street, a French band that sang in English, was scheduled to play Day on the Green #2 in Oakland the following day. Shakin' Street cancelled, however, and was replaced by Gamma for this concert. Shakin' Street hit the scene with their first album, "Vampire Rock," in 1978, released a self-titled album in '80 and dropped from view just a few years later.
