So this is an attempt at a workaround. bear, creature, dark, dots, evil, gothic, horror, monster, spooky, t_shirt, werewolf

  • Quantum Physics attempts to describe the point at which physics becomes philosophical. Einstein was more of a philosopher than a mathematician, and that's why he loved Quantum Physics. This shirt and the idea behind it marks that turning point: When technology fails to explain what philosophy might. • Jimi Hendrix liked Byrd's drawing on this poster so much that he later asked the artist to design a press kit cover for him. Byrd used a drop-bow compass to draw the little circles, and he labored to get Hendrix's hair "... just right." Hendrix was at the height of his career in mid-1968, and he did two shows for the one-night-only concert. Sly & the Family Stone, not mentioned on the poster, was the second band. Just starting to get airplay, Sly was relatively unknown and was heckled by a crowd that couldn't have cared less who was opening up for Hendrix.

  • Jimi Hendrix and the Flying Eyeball are images indelibly linked in the psychedelic poster art of the late Rick Griffin. Griffin discovered The Eyeball, in a much more benign form, in the 1950s auto detailing art of California pinstriper Von Dutch and reworked it over time to become the winged, bloodshot figure parting a ring of fire with serpent-like tentacles. The highlighted lettering, vivid color, and complicated imagery reflect Griffin's attention to precise details and the influence of Indian lore and archeology on his work. The Eyeball became associated exclusively with Hendrix's music in future billings and recordings of his performances.
