Made from 100% cotton this bluish-gray (much more gray than blue) t-shirt features a very slightly distressed image of Batman seemingly captured by a wafting powdery beam of light! This image of Batman rendered by comic book artist Jim Lee grants us a firmly rooted extremely well muscled Batman colored by an unexpected glow in liberal strokes of a yellow pastel. Now I really need to mention that this Batman tee is from the high end t-shirt manufacturers at Trunk Ltd. I mean this is t-shirt quality on par with Junk Food...and maybe even a bit beyond in some cases. This exemplary quality is seen in the super-soft material the double reinforced stitching and those always present silver-stitched stripes running along the side of the tee. And it's limited so...I'll let you get to it.male - adult$33.99

Let's just say they know a heck of a lot more than you do. The Guardians aren't too sure about their latest Green Lantern recruit Hal Jordan but....well it is Ryan Reynolds so...they'll warm up to 'em.male - adult$19.99

Edgar Allan Poe is known for his macabre tales of mystery and terror. The mere mention of his name brings to mind murderers, madmen and premature burials. Which makes the recent discovery of some of his lost manuscripts a bit surprising. Turns out, Poe';s tormented prose belied an almost schoolgirl-like giddiness. An early draft of The Raven reveals the following passage: Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the Nightly shore Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night';s Plutonian shore!" Quoth the Raven, "Always and forever more. (PS: You rock!)" Or consider this unpublished line from The Island of the Fay. "The shade of the trees fell heavily upon the water, and seemed to bury itself therein, impregnating the depths of the element with darkness. And I thought to myself, ';I just wanna dance.';" Other shocking discoveries: The Tell-Tale Heart was originally titled Tell It To My Heart. The Cask of Amontillado was originally The Basket Full of Rainbows. And The Masque of themale, female - adult$24

An artist helping to restore Michelangelo';s Sistine Chapel frescoes made a startling discovery yesterday. Underneath the surface layer of the "Creation of Adam" section, he noticed an earlier version of the work in which God is seen extending his hand to Adam in a much different pose. "In the original version, God was not giving life to Adam -- he was giving him the finger," said Adriano De Luca, the artist who made the discovery. "And it';s no accident. Michelangelo even ';pixelated'; His hand, as if it were being blurred out. Kind of like you';d see on an episode of ';TMZ'; or ';Cops.';" No one is certain how Michelangelo knew about the middle finger -- let alone pixels or computers -- more than four centuries before the gesture came to be. But experts immediately began speculating on its meaning. "Perhaps Michelangelo is using a visual metaphor to represent the complexities of man';s covenant with God," said Peter Liebert, author of The Complete Works of Michelangelo. Archaeologists with the group Creationists in Labcoats (CIL) said they have discovered caveman drawings in the remote town of Altoona, Kansas that confirm the coexistence of humans and dinosaurs some 6,000 years ago. What';s more, they said the drawings prove that dinosaurs marched two-by-two, along with all the other animals, onto Noah';s Ark. "This discovery shatters more than a century';s worth of so called scientific evidence," said expedition leader, Samuel Featherstone, who is a professor of paleoreligiology at CIL. "Dinosaurs - or ';Creation Dragons,'; as they will henceforth be known - did not predate humans by some 200 million years. Rather, they walked with Adam and Eve and may have even had a hand in Jesus'; crucifixion." The news has forced scholars to completely rethink the size of Noah';s Ark, which is now estimated to have been roughly the size of Alaska.male, female - adult$24

The discovery of a series of previously unknown drawings by Leonardo da Vinci have revealed that the famed artist/inventor/scientist was even more ahead of his time than anyone realized. "We knew that da Vinci conceived ideas vastly ahead of his own time, including helicopters, tanks, calculators, solar power, and even the theory of plate tectonics," said da Vinci biographer Irwin Nicholl. "But who knew that list also included cellular phones, hair-metal rock ballads and the Rotisserie Barbeque Platinum 5000 series?" The drawing titled "Vitruvian Rock Man" appears to be the crown jewel of the bunch. But historians are just as excited about some of the other finds, including "Virgin with iPod," "Silicon-based Microprocessing Contraption," and "Horseless Uranium-235 Fission Inducer." Da Vinci even had a series of t-shirts made to commemorate his guitar man, thus predating the "invention" of the t-shirt by some 450 years.male, female - adult$24

45OUT (pronounced “SHOUT”) was inspired by the immediate images of my old childhood record players that came to me when I heard the number “45”. The experience of collecting music for the first time and playing records was a defining period of discovery, inspiration, freedom, and adventure. For the first time I decided what I liked and what I wanted to listen to, and there were no boundaries or guidelines imposed on me. The same freedom of choice and power of expression are essential to all grass roots political and rights movements, like these important same-sex law reforms. When I spun the “45” around like a record, it became the “SH” complimenting “OUT” in my call to action: “SHOUT.” australia, lesbian, gay, lgbt, 85 law reforms, same sex, acon, wear it, with pride, andy howell, ruby rosemale, female - adult$24.54

"One of our joys was to go into our workroom at night; we then perceived on all sides the feebly luminous silhouettes of the bottles or capsules containing our products. It was really a lovely sight and one always new to us. The glowing tubes looked like faint, fairy lights. - Marie Curie Madame Marie Skłodowska-Curie wrote the above in 1923, recalling the work that she and husband Pierre Curie did at the turn of the century to isolate radioactive isotopes. It was during this time studying the curious Uranium emissions noticed by Henri Becquerel that she proved that Thorium was also radioactive, a word coined by her. In 1898 the Curies published papers announcing the discoveries of Polonium and Radium. In 1903 Marie shared the Nobel Prize in Physics with her husband and Becquerel, becoming the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, and in 1911, she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, becoming the first person to attain a second. She was determined that scientific knowledge should be ofemale - adult$19.99

"A new element is being added to the periodic table after its discovery was confirmed by a team of Russian and American scientists. The element, named Surprise, appears to point the way to still more elements with chemical properties no one can predict. The team, based outside of Dimitrovgrad, Russia, produced the element by smashing together isotopes of thorium, a natural radioactive chemical element, with a bologna sandwich. The chief scientist on the team admitted that the addition of the sandwich was initially accidental, but added ""we duplicated the results with a second bologna sandwich."" The particle accelerator was rendered temporarily unusable after the byproducts of the experiment, surprise and mayonnaise, were left in it overnight. A spokesperson for the General Assembly of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics, which approves the naming of new elements, admitted, ""We're just as surprised about this as you."" "One of the nicest things about working at ThinkGeek World Domination HQ (which you should totally do, BTW) is that you feel like you're in your atmosphere. We have geeks of all stripes, and there's never any apologizing for not catching the past weekend's football games (although we do have our share of sports geeks). The water cooler talk is Doctor Who and the latest scientific discoveries, what everybody's reading and our favorite Greasemonkey plugin. (Also, it should be noted that we don't have a water cooler, but we do have an endless supply of caffeine.) When you forget where your body is and trip on your own feet, coworkers are quick to acknowledge, ""I did that yesterday!"" (although they will probably Tweet about your incident first). All in all, it's a really comfortable place to be a geek. You never feel like you have to apologize for being different, because here different is what we value. This shirt is for those who breathe geek. It's got all sorts of different geek obsesmale - adult$16.99
