I was reading up on some Native American beliefs, and how different animals were viewed. And while this isn't specifically about any one folklore or belief in particular,I thought it would be fun to play around with that imagery. It went thru a bunch of color and design changes before stopping with this. I like the burnt orange the best.

Originally envisioned as an all over pattern in the spirit of M.C Escher, I think it works really well as a single column, highlighting the identical shape of each animal while allowing each to stand on its own, not getting lost in a sea of patterniness (that's a word, I promise, but don't double check).
