Love it or hate it, there’s no escaping Twilight or ignoring the cultural impact it’s made on the landscape. In 2009, upon the release of the second movie – New Moon – College Humor gave us a comedy sketch integral to the very Twilight parody oeuvre. A t-shirt-based saga of a man to whom no sparkly vampire nor shirtless werewolf could hope to compare. One man. Three wolves. And a moon.
Over the years, comfortable casual-wear naturalists have hidden in the bush and quietly observed as the wild and wily t-shirts went about their existence, consuming cotton and breeding. The interbreeding of genetically compatible t-shirt species was inevitable, as any of these Jane Goodalls of the worn world would tell you, and now, new species have begun to emerge in the open, waiting to be snatched from their habitat and worn by human beings, as is their purpose.
In a genetic match long thought incompatible, Star Wars and Star Trek have crashed together to give us a Darth Vader from none other than Vulcan. He may wear a helmet, but that hasn’t stopped him from toting a hair dryer with him, just in case. Don’t question the logic.
